The Nelrod Consortium Conference provides strategies and procedures to improve agency performance through a variety of educational classes. Class handouts (on CD) feature forms, guides, checklists and other tools for use at your local Agency. Topics address the latest industry trends in Commissioner Education, Agency Administration and Management, Public Housing and HCVP Operations, Asset Management, Maintenance, Energy Conservation, Capital Fund Program Administration, Procurement and much more.
The 12th Annual Conference will present the latest and most relevant issues facing our industry today. Some of the new classes that will be presented this year are: Commissioner Education for Federal Housing Programs, Follow the Money-Financial Reporting Made Easy and Evaluating and Hiring Executive Directors. In addition, we are introducing Certificate of Completion options for attendees in the areas of: UPCS, Income and Rent Determination, Maintenance for Property Managers and Capital Fund Program. Another exciting feature of the upcoming Consortium Conference is the NEW Resource Fair. This fair is a “hands-on” show and tell event. Selected industry vendors are invited to demonstrate and let attendees use, operate and test their latest programs, tools and products. Classes are provided to all vendors on procurement so vendors understand how to do business with your agency. Please Note: Hotel Cut-off Date is January 24, 2012. After this date the hotel will take reservations on a space available basis at the prevailing hotel rate.
February 13 – 17 (Mon-Thur) $59.00 single/double occupancy plus county/NV room tax (13%). This includes Tuesday Evening Reception at Resource Fair, Wednesday lunch with entertainment and 2 breakfasts, all the facility fees and all resort fees ($12 - $15 per night). Participants not using the Nelrod Conference hotel room package will be charged an additional daily conference fee.
To secure your group rates, reservations must be made online by clicking Hotel Reservations or by calling the hotel direct at (800) 634-6753 and identifying yourself as a participant of the Nelrod 2012 Annual Consortium Conference.
All reservations made directly with the hotel must be guaranteed with a deposit covering 1st night room. The hotel accepts credit card or company/personal checks for payment of room and tax or required deposits. Checks must be received a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to arrival.
