For two days of training and guidance on the new PHAS indicators and the impact on agency performance. Workshops will focus on providing procedures to analyze your program operations, identifying potential weaknesses and developing action plans for improvement. In addition, strategies will be addressed to acheive high ratings under the newest version of PHAS. Training workshops will be conducted in a retreat format to encourage participation and will include Strategic Planning with your Board, Planning for the new PHAS, New HCVP Requirements, Managing Maintenance for Success under the New PHAS and much more!

The Nelrod Consortium Fall Retreat will be held on the campus of the National Conference Center (NCC) in Lansdowne, VA (Washington D.C. metropolitan area near Dulles Airport). The National Conference Center (NCC) is one of the largest and most technologically advanced conference centers in the nation and is located on 110 scenic acres in the countryside of Virginia. The National Conference Center received Successful Meetings magazine’s prestigious Pinnacle Award for 2007. This is the fifth time NCC has been recognized and they are the only property in the Washington Metropolitan area to receive the honor.

Cancellations made after June 30, 2008 will be charged a $75 processing fee per person.

We have secured a special rate which includes: overnight accommodations, three buffet meals daily, complimentary parking, and use of recreation facilities (tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, as well as a fully equipped fitness center.)

Guestrooms are $219 per night October 8 and 9 and $199 for Friday, October 10. All guestrooms are single occupancy and upgrades are available.

A Day Meeting Package of $89.00 per day is available for attendees not required overnight accommodations. This rate includes all the above and lunch only.

Please note spouses sharing a room with attendees will be charged the day rate ($89.00) and includes 3 meals daily.

Cancellations: Must be made 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid being billed the length of stay. This policy also applies to "no shows" and Day Meeting package/Spouse rates.
