The Training Conference dedicated to learning...but we sure have a fun time doing it!                  The Nelrod Consortium Conference provides strategies and procedures to improve agency performance through a variety of training workshops. Workshop handouts (on CD) feature forms, guides, checklists and other tools for use at your local Agency. Topics address the latest industry trends in Commissioner Training, Agency Administration and Management, Public Housing and HCVP Operations, Asset Management, Maintenance, Energy Conservation, Capital Fund Program Administration, Procurement and much more.

The 11th Annual Conference will present the latest and most relevant issues facing our industry today. Some of the new workshops that will be presented this year are: Commissioner Training Workshops for Keys to Partnering for Agency Success, Follow the Money-Financial Reporting Made Easy and Ethics. In addition, we are introducing Advanced Workshops for experienced staff in the areas of: Fair Housing and Section 504, Housing Choice Voucher Program and Enterprise Income Verification (EIV).

We have once again secured a block of guestrooms at the Golden Nugget Hotel located at 129 E. Fremont Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Guestrooms are located in Carson Tower (south tower). 

Please Note: Hotel Cut-off Date is January 31, 2011. After this date the hotel will take reservations on a space available basis at the prevailing hotel rate.

 The Nelrod Conference room package rates are as follows:

February 15 – 17 (Tues-Thur) $75.00 single/double occupancy plus county/NV room tax (13%). This includes 2 lunches with entertainment and 2 light continental breakfasts. Participants not using the Nelrod Conference hotel room package will be charged an additional daily conference fee.

To secure your group rates, reservations must be made by calling the hotel direct at (800) 846-5336 and identifying yourself as a participant of the Nelrod 2011 Annual Consortium Conference.

All reservations made directly with the hotel must be guaranteed with a deposit covering 1st night room. The hotel accepts credit card or company/personal checks for payment of room and tax or required deposits. Checks must be received a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to arrival.
